Translator As a bilingual Canadian, I am competent in both English to French and French to English translation. I translate both technical and literary texts and have also translated labels for American companies seeking to market their products in Canada. In addition to my experience as a writer, I hold a master's degree in French from Portland State University and am a past Fulbright awardee to France. I am fluent in Canadian, American, and British English, and North American and European French. Past contracts include translating product labels into French for Northwest Delights (since acquired by nSpired Natural Foods), an American company looking to market its goods in Canada, and ongoing work translating official correspondence for the Canadian Action Party. I am currently translating Paul Hellyer's latest book, Good-bye Canada. Rates vary according to the type and size of the contract, but are competitive.
